I wish I could meet her!! No one can be immortal. There is only one immortal and that is God. We do imagine things that r not possible in anyway. This is the happiness of being a human ……. No one knows what happens or is going on on this earth except God. We all are just willing, wishing and trying to know. Where there are the types you talked about, surely there would be the good ones too. I wish they could be proud of who and what they are and also know the ways of serving the only immortal God, and they would be happy always as well.

Frederick Ransom: A Dartmouth College student from a well-respected family in South Woodstock, Vermont, he died of tuberculosis in and is an example of an educated person ensnared in a vampire panic usually associated with misinformed farmers.

A vampire will stay a fledgling until they have spent around fifty years, give or take, on earth. The next stage is an ascendant vampire. These vampires are the most common to learn about. They stay an ascendant around fifty to three hundred years and are defined by their calm and collected nature.

After that stage, there is an Elder. An elder vampire has been on earth for two hundred to seven hundred years. Elders are incredibly wise, powerful, quick, strong, and nearly impossible to kill. Becoming an ancient vampire is the final stage of aging. An ancient vampire is defined by their time on earth which is anything from seven hundred years and up.

These vampires are considered the strongest type but can be killed like any other vampire. There is one final way to look at how vampires age and that is to go straight back to the definition of age. When we look at this definition, things get a bit more interesting.

Technically when a human dies they stop aging, but by definition, as long as they keep existing as a vampire, they are still aging. If a human is converted at age twenty-five and lived two hundred years on earth, are they twenty-five years old? Or, are they two hundred and twenty-five years old? It seems kind of odd to label someone with hundreds of years of experience behind them as being in their mid-twenties. A topic that is often overlooked is older vampires. We know that there are vampires that are hundreds and even millions of years old.

Vampires are confined to evening hours, but otherwise have a lot of time to work with. Although some squander their immortality there is one such example in Only Lovers Left Alive , vampires are generally a cultured, even uppity bunch that can hold their own in any conversation. With aging, mortals acquire more knowledge and wisdom, yet processing speed and physical capacities decline, leading to the aphorism that youth is wasted on the young.

For vampires, there is no theoretical limit on the number of skills that could be acquired to a reasonable level of competence, aside from pastimes that require being outdoors in the daylight or the use of a mirror. Vampires have the best of both worlds: whereas mortals are wise and slow, vampires are wise and fast. The tricky part would be to maintain these learned skills.

Having taken piano lessons in the Elizabethan era would not be of much use today without regular practice. The following advice, amalgamated from cognitive neuroscience research, is for readers who are vampires and want to maximize their self-improvement:. The complexity of the human brain, with billion neurons and trillion connections , is beyond comprehension, at least with current methods. Given sufficient time, the amount of information that could be absorbed through the neuroplastic sculpting of these connections is limitless.

The benefits of greater exposure and experience enjoyed by mortals are offset by the liabilities of age-related brain changes. Levine, B.
